Special exhibition that aims to deepen the work of Miró from the Archive of the Foundation from poems by the artist Pau Éluard.
Exhibition included in the series "Miró Documents" which aims to delve into some aspects of the work of Miró from the background of the Archivo de la Fundación and in this sample reconstructs the history of the creation of the book Miró made from a compilation of poems by Pau Éluard with the same title.
The composition and the realization of the book À toute épreuve is an example of the links that Miró establishes with the poets in the twenties, which are the origin of great transformations in their plastic language. With this book, edited by Gérald Cramer in 1958, Miró realizes his desire to go beyond the illustration of the words of the poet to end up creating an object.
